Tennessee National

This past weekend was the first ever Tennessee national at Muddy Creek Raceway. I was looking forward to being part of the inaugural event and going out there and racing on a track I had heard so much about but had never raced on. The track looked awesome on Friday after walking it, and had some big jumps and some technical sections to it as well.

Saturday morning I started out with my first practice, I struggled the whole practice to get a flow and get my rhythm. The track was a mud fest as they watered so much before practices. The ruts were super deep and gnarly. After first practice I was on the bubble for qualifying and needed to better myself for second practice. Second practice started out with me feeling a little better about the track, but unfortunately didn't correspond into a fast lap time and I was forced into the lcq.

The lcq started out decent with my start, I was somewhere around 10 and was passing a few guys before I crashed down a downhill and got hit after crashing and destroyed my foot peg. I was able to get up and I tried to keep pushing all the way, but the race is only 4 laps and although I turned fast lap times after getting going and my foot kept slipping off the foot peg because it was so bent, I wasn't able to pass enough guys and ended up 9th in the lcq and missed the show.

I need to get my stuff together and get in these shows, it's now or ever this weekend in PA.
